Biography of Speaker

Marjo Mitsutomi was born in Finland and graduated from Ball State University. She completed her Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics. Mitsutomi worked at the University of Redlands, Orange County as a tenured associate professor director. She was a linguistic consultant to the FAA from 2002 to 2008. In September 2010, Mitsutomi became a professor of Akita International University. In September 2011, she assumed the head of English Language Teaching Practices Graduate Program at this university. Mitsutomi will start a new program as a head of the Language Education Institute(LEI) at Osaka Gakuin University.
